A) Information you provide or that we receive through sign-in (Google OAuth via Clerk):
- •Email address (primary account email) — used for account identification, login, and newsletters/service notices.
- •Name and profile picture — used to personalize your dashboard experience.
B) Information collected automatically when you use the Service:
- •Usage data such as pages viewed, features used, approximate device/browser information, and basic event logs for security, analytics, and service improvement.
- •Email engagement data (opens/clicks) to measure newsletter performance and improve content.
We request only basic Google OAuth profile scopes and use only the information necessary to provide the Service.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use data for:
- •Authentication & security (login, fraud prevention, account protection)
- •Service delivery & personalization (curation, newsletter personalization)
- •Communication (newsletters, administrative/legal notices, critical service updates)
- •Analytics & improvement (understanding usage patterns and improving reliability)
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or Google user data for advertising purposes.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
Depending on your location, we process your data based on:
- •Contract/service provision — to deliver the Service you signed up for.
- •Consent — for newsletters and optional features (you may withdraw consent anytime).
- •Legitimate interests — for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
- •Legal obligations — where required by applicable law.
4. Google API Services User Data Policy
NullHype's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- •We do not use Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models.
- •We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., authentication via Clerk), to comply with law, or as part of a merger/acquisition/asset sale.
5. Sharing with Service Providers
We share limited data with service providers who help us operate the Service:
- •Clerk — authentication and user management
- •Resend — email delivery and engagement tracking
- •Supabase — database and storage
- •Google Analytics — usage analytics
These providers process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it.
6. Data Location & International Transfers
Gentive is based in the Republic of Korea. The Service may be supported by providers who process data in other countries (including the United States). By using the Service, you understand that your data may be processed in Korea and other locations where our providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected during such transfers.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and measure performance (e.g., Google Analytics). Depending on your location, we may request cookie consent where required by law (e.g., EU/EEA/UK). You can also manage cookies through your browser settings or opt out of Google Analytics using browser extensions.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

We aim to respond to verified requests within 30 days. Note that administrative/service emails required to operate your account may still be sent.

We retain personal data while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion, we may retain certain information where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legitimate business purposes.
